Monday Morning Fog
Clouds stuck around till late afternoon after last night's storms. The cloud cover and north wind kept the temperatures in the low 70's. We actually had our high for the day occur just after midnight when it was still 74 degrees. The afternoon high peaked at 73°.
With skies clear and the dewpoints still in the 50's we expect a thick fog to form overnight. Get ready for a slow commute tomorrow morning, especially in the outlying counties to the north. Once the fog clears it'll be a wonderful Monday, highs will get into the mid-80's with a steady south wind.
BALL GAME FORECAST
First pitch for game 5 of the World Series is at 7:05pm. It should be with mostly clear skies and temperatures in the upper 70's, falling down to the upper 60's by the end of the game.
VERY WARM THEN VERY DIFFERENT
Tuesday we'll have temperatures get into the upper 80's with a brisk southwest wind. On Wednesday a cold front comes in by mid-day. Morning lows will be balmy, in the upper 60's and the day will still warm close to 80°. But once the cold front arrives the temperatures will start to drop. There is a chance of rain and storms Wednesday night as a brisk northwest wind ushers in a shot of fall weather again.
GET READY FOR THURSDAY
Picture a soaking rain for most of the day, with rain and storms and strong northwest wind. temperatures only in the upper 50's. This the wet winter-like day in store for Thursday. It could also turn into a generous soaking, always a nice thing to say in this time of drought. If we can manage an inch of rain will log a "normal" month of precipitation for this first time in a while.
COOLER WEATHER FOR THE WEEKEND
It'll dry out on Friday, highs will only get in the mid-60's after a morning low in the low 40's (in the 30's in the outlying areas). On Saturday highs will also stay in the 60's for highs. By Sunday we should be in the 70's.
