Here's how much tickets cost for Luka Doncic's return to Dallas to take on the Mavericks
Luka Doncic will make his return to Dallas this week to take on the Mavericks for the first time, about two months since a shocking trade sent him to the Los Angeles Lakers. After weeks of protests, fans who want to be in the arena for the game will need to dig deep.
As of Monday morning, tickets are sold out through the Mavs official ticketing partner Ticketmaster, save for a pair of seats in the 3rd row priced at $2,000 each plus fees. Resale tickets on Ticketmaster start at $225 for nosebleed seats. Tickets in the lower level start at $450 plus fees.
For anyone looking to splurge, a pair of courtside seats next to the team benches is available for $27,363 per ticket, including fees. The row directly behind the Lakers bench is a bit more affordable, with tickets available for around $4,700, including fees.
Compare that to the Mavericks' regular season home finale against the Toronto Raptors two days later. Face-value seats are available through Ticketmaster starting at $45 plus fees, while lower-level tickets start at $108 plus fees. Resale tickets are available for under face value, with lower-level seats starting at $74.
According to data from ticket resale site Vivid Seats, the average sale price for tickets to Wednesday night's game is $408. The game is also drawing people from all over; fans who purchased tickets from the site are traveling an average of 350 miles to attend.
Vivid Seats' Fan Forecast predicts that 65% of fans at Wednesday night's game will be Mavericks fans and 35% Lakers fans, but it's safe to say that close to 100% of the crowd will be Luka Doncic fans.
