Manager Of Animal Shelter Charged With Animal Cruelty
The Manager of the Dallas city animal shelter is being charged with animal cruelty in the death of a cat.
According to the Investigator for Dallas Animal Services, Shelter Manager, Tyrone McGill, knew about a cat that was stuck behind a wall at the shelter, but did little about it. The affidavit says that other employees told McGill several times about that cat when they heard it crying. McGill said he opened up some ceiling tiles for the cat to come out...but the cat never did...and eventually died. Only when the stench became unbearable did they finally tear down the wall.
