Man Shot, Killed At Arlington Apartment Complex

ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - Police are searching for the person responsible for shooting a man and leaving him to die outside an apartment in the 500 block of Jackson Square Sunday morning.

At about 8:40 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Olympic Club Apartments after someone reported a shooting. Police found Carlos Martinez Ferrufino, 31, lying outside the apartments. He was taken to JPS Hospital in Fort Worth where he died. This is the city's 11th homicide.

Tiara Ellis Richard, media relations coordinator for the Arlington Police Dept., said robbery may be a motive but "it's still early in the investigation."
