DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A man wanted for a murder in Dallas is back in North Texas Monday.

In March, U.S. Marshals captured Christopher Colbert in Los Angeles.

Dallas police say Colbert passed himself off as Ronald Shumway, 57, and sold Shumway's house at 725 N. Winnetka, in North Oak Cliff. Colbert walked away with six-figures in cash.

The new homeowner found Shumway's remains under a concrete slab in the backyard when the new homeowner's began renovations last September.

Colbert, 43, is now awaiting extradition back to Texas.

In February, the Dallas Police Department issued warrants for Colbert for Tampering with Governmental Record, Securing Executing of Document by Deception, and Money Laundering each with a $100,000 bond. In addition to those bond amounts, the added murder charge carries a $500,000 bond, totaling $800,000.

He's being held in the Dallas county jail.
