Kermit The Frog Gets A New Pad
The original Kermit from Jim Henson's collection is coming home to Washington where the Muppets were created in the 1950s. Henson's widow Jane will donate 10 characters to the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History. This Kermit and friends are from Henson's original show "Sam and Friends". The first Kermie looked more like a lizard---with ping pong balls for eyes.
