Jones: We've Got To Look Past Last Weekend
DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - Cowboys owner Jerry Jones believes his team will be able to "go forward" and that they have a chance this weekend against the Seattle Seahawks (2-5) following the lopsided loss to the Eagles. "We've got to look past last weekend" the CEO/Owner remarked, "Everybody feels we did not do well in Philadelphia, for various reasons both on and off the field, but there are things we have done to move forward."
Looking back on the loss - Sean Lee's status is still in question following the sprained wrist that took him out of the game. Sean has not been at practice, which is not a good sign, and team physicians are "trying different version of a cast" according to Jones, yet his availability remains "undetermined".
On a somewhat happy note, this weekend the Cowboys will honor three former players by inducting them into the Cowboys Ring of Honor. Drew Pearson, Larry Allen and Charles Haley are all important choices in looking back at the history of the Cowboys."These three players are all deserving, they've made contributions to the franchise - it's going to be a pleasure to put them in there" said Jones on 105.3 The Fan.
