Isolated Showers this Evening, then Heating up for Labor Day Weekend

There are a few isolated showers passing thru North Texas this evening.  This is the outer periphery of what is now Tropical Depression Isaac.  Isaac's center has now moved into Arkansas.  But a few of these isolated showers will be possible thru the evening and overnight.

Small rain chances will continue into our Friday as well.  Showers will be very isolated and won't last long.  Here is the weather timeline for tomorrow.

Here is also a look at rain chances for tomorrow.  Best chance of rain will be north and east of DFW.

MORE ACTIVITY IN THE ATLANTIC...

There is another Hurricane and Tropical Storm sitting in the Atlantic this evening.  Both are expected to curve off to the north and pose no threat to the US.  But here is a look at the two storms and there projected path.

FORECAST:

Temperatures heat up for the weekend as an upper level ridge builds over the southern Plains.  This means sunny skies and hot weather.  Many areas will reach the triple digits over the weekend and early next week.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, isolated showers.  Low of 76.  N 5-15 mph.

Tomorrow (Friday):  Partly sunny, isolated showers.  High of 97.  W 5-15 mph.

Saturday:  Mostly sunny and hot.  Breezy.  High of 99.  S/SW 10-20 mph.

Sunday: Mostly sunny and hot.  High of 100.  S 5-10 mph.

Labor Day (Monday): Mostly sunny and hot.  High of 100.  S 5-10 mph.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny and hot.  High of 100.  S 5-10 mph.
