How Many More 100s for DFW
Today we reached 100 degrees again at DFW. This is the 6th day in a row in the triple digits and the 13th time this year.
We are in the middle of the hottest stretch of weather we will see this year. Temperatures will stay in the 100s thru at least Friday.
HEAT ADVISORY for tomorrow and Wednesday.
The heat index today is not too far away from the actual air temperature.
But tomorrow air temperatures climb to 104 and the heat index goes above 105. This is why all the counties shaded in orange below are under a Heat Advisory starting at 1pm tomorrow thru 7pm Wednesday.
Morning lows will also be above 78 degrees in these areas Tuesday morning.
100s STICK AROUND THRU FRIDAY
The upper level ridge will shift east over Arkansas by the weekend. That will allow temperatures to ease a little on Saturday and Sunday, but the humidity level will actually increase making it feel like it is still in the 100s.
