HIGHT TODAY: 107 at DFW! Ties record high for this date that was set back in 1978. Also hottest day of the year so far. 14th day in a row with temperatures at or above 100 degrees. 21st day of the year with triple digit heat.
THIS WEEKEND: 100 degree streak will continue thru the weekend, but there will be a few isolated showers and thunderstorms each afternoon. Rain coverage will be less than 20%, but at least there is a chance. This Sunday, Monday or Tuesday we could see the streak broken if we get a shower near DFW airport early enough in the afternoon. But otherwise it will still be hot with highs in the 99 to 103 degree range.
