Hot Labor Day Weekend, but Small Rain Chances
HEAT ADVISORY in effect until 6pm Sunday for Dallas, Tarrant, Collin and Denton Counties.
Why not the rest of North Texas? The criteria for a Heat Advisory is a heat index value above 105 degrees and morning lows at or above 78 degrees. The outlying areas around these four counties will see lows in the mid 70s just below the criteria. But everyone in North Texas will have feel like temperatures in the 105 to 107 range Saturday and Sunday.
FRIDAY'S HIGH TEMPERATURES
Here are the high temperature from Friday.
SATURDAY
Temperatures in the 100 to 104 range. With a small chance of an isolated thunderstorm for areas NE of Dallas.
SUNDAY
Temperatures again in the 100 to 103 range. Small rain chance to the SE of Dallas on Sunday.
LABOR DAY
Temperatures will only top out in the mid to upper 90s! There will be a few scattered showers and thunderstorms with coverage around 20%.
