Hot Car Danger
Triple-A Texas is reminding parents and childcare givers about the danger of leaving children alone in a hot car.
When the outside temperature is at only 90-degrees outside, it can reach 150 degrees inside a closed car. Children can die within minutes if left in hot temperatures, and doctors say that parking in the shade and cracking the windows don't make a difference. Triple-A spokesperson Sarah Schimmer says children should never be allowed to play in or around cars, adding that motorists should "look before you leave" whenever you exit a vehicle.
