High-Flyin' Stunts At The Alliance Air Show
FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - The Alliance Air Show kicks off Saturday at Alliance Airport in Fort Worth. Thousands of people are expected to attend the annual show, which will feature some of the best pilots this country has to offer. It is a event that can make your head spin!
The Alliance Air Show draws kids of all ages for two days of flying fun. Over a dozen pilots will perform for huge crowds of aviation lovers.
Team Oracle's Sean D. Tucker and his blazing red biplane. The warbirds of our past, like the P-51 Mustang. Aerobatic superstars like Michael Goulian, Matt Chapman and Kirby Chambliss. These pilots will twist, turn, climb and dive in a stunning aerial spectacle sure to keep all eyes on the sky.

There is also food, drinks and an aviation festival with interactive flight exhibits, simulators and planes on static display.
In the absense of current military aircraft -- because of the government sequester -- one of the very few privately owned T-38 Talon fighters will fly in the show. The Talon, owned and being offered up by Ross Perot Jr., will make your chest shake with fly-by speeds over 400 mph.
Kids will also love seeing the Shockwave jet-powered semi truck as it blasts down the Alliance Airport runway.
But the featured perform is the Black Diamond jet team, which promises to wow the crowd with a five-plane close formation performance, often flying wingtip-to-wingtip.
The Alliance Air Show gates are open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (performances start at 10:00 p.m.) on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets to the show are free, but parking costs $20.
