Heat Advisory Through 8pm Friday
The streak had a one-day break, so we'll stay tied at #7 (with 1954) for all-time consecutive triple digit days. Our high ended up at 96° yesterday at DFW with .06" of rain. Dallas had .08, Denton .01, McKinney .22 and Corsicana had 1.17"!
A stray shower is possible again today, but would be most likely south and east of the Metroplex. We'll return to hot/dry wx the next few days although we'll start to get a few more cold fronts in the coming 10 days to start knocking down this ridge of high pressure. One will slide down late Saturday/Sunday with a chance for some spotty rain (no heat relief) and then another by late next week could bring more rain and a relief from the August oven.
