Repeat Offender: Bird Won't Stop Building Nest On Haltom City Police Patrol Vehicle
HALTOM CITY, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) - A bird has commandeered a Haltom City Police Department patrol vehicle and is getting away with it.
The department shared an image of her nestled nicely atop her freshly-picked twigs.
The dove is a repeat offender, too.
Officers said despite having relocated the persistent bird several times, she keeps coming back and rebuilding her nest on the station's patrol Tahoe. Call it maternal instinct, perhaps she knows her eggs are safe there.
