FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – Fort Worth police are asking for the public's help in trying to capture a group of young men believed to be the same suspects behind 4 separate home invasions. In all but one case the suspects targeted elderly residents.

The first home invasion happened on July 20 on Strong Avenue. The group robbed and hurt an 83-year-old man there. They went back 10 days later and did it again to the same victim.

Then this past week they hit two more times only hours apart. The first time on Dunbar street the next on Killian street.

Pearly Porter, 66, was one of the victims. She says the group of armed and masked young men broke in through her back door and held her at gun point while they demanded cash.

Porter said, "If they didn't kill me with the gun they could have killed me with a heart attack."

Thankfully she wasn't physically hurt and was able to run out her front door screaming for help as the suspects ransacked her house.

Fort Worth police are now asking those who live near this part of town to keep an eye on their elderly residents. The suspects are still on the loose and they fear they will strike again.

Porter added, "for the like the last month or so I've been sleeping afraid" about knowing the group behind all of this is still out there.

Anyone with information is asked to call Fort Worth Police.
