Grand Prairie Police Investigating Apparent Murder-Suicide

GRAND PRAIRIE (CBSDFW.COM) — Grand Prairie police say they are investigating an apparent murder-suicide that happened Sunday afternoon.
Officers responded to a shooting at the Terraces on the Parkway Apartments, near the 1000 block of North Carrier Parkway, around 12:20 p.m. Sunday afternoon, the department said. Officers found two gunshot victims.
One, a woman, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. The other, a man, was taken to Methodist Dallas Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Grand Prairie police, who are calling the incident a murder-suicide, say a witness told them the man shot the woman and then shot himself.
The investigation is ongoing.
Police say this is the fourth homicide in Grand Prairie this year, and it is not related to the homicide the department is investigating that happened Saturday.
