Giant Iguana Airlifted To North Texas Zoo (Video)
He's 40 feet long and weighs 1,800 pounds -- and he's now the mascot of the Fort Worth Zoo. A helicopter airlifted Iggy the Iguana into place Tuesday afternoon. His new home is on top of the zoo's hospital -- visible from University Drive. You may recognize Iggy as the work of Texas artist Bob "Daddy-O" Wade.
