Garrett Defuses Cowboys Controversy; Praises Team Defense
ARLINGTON (1053 THE FAN) -- Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett joined 105.3 The Fan's New School on Monday following the team's 31-7 thrashing of the Rams.
Garrett praised the performance by his defense, DeMarco Murray's outstanding game, and talked about how the Cowboys effectively attacked the Rams' defense.

Garrett also shot down reports from this week that defensive tackle Jason Hatcher blasted Tony Romo for favoring the pass over the run.
"I think some how, some way people are trying to make this into some kind of divisive thing between our among players on our team, and that's not the case at all," said Garrett.
Garrett also provided an update on WR Miles Austin, who left Sunday's game with a hamstring injury.
