FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Police officers from across North Texas are coming to aid of one of their own as an officer's infant daughter battles for her life.
Annalynne Grace Magallon, the nearly three-week-old daughter of Fort Worth Police Officer Brandon Magallon, remains at Cook Children's Hospital after suffering multiple seizures.
Born July 10th, Annalynne appeared healthy and was allowed to go home with her parents.
However, a couple weeks later her mother noticed she wasn't feeding like she had been, so she took her to see a doctor.
Tests revealed she had suffered several seizures.
Brandon Magallon said the doctors are unsure what's causing the seizures.
"It's horrible not knowing," he said. "The nurses and doctors ask if we have any questions and my obvious question is what is wrong with her."
The Fort Worth Police Officers Association along with the Dallas Police Officers Association posted a link to a GoFundMe account on their Facebook pages urging fellow officers to help with the family's anticipated medical expenses.
