TARRANT COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) - A 4-year-old girl is recovering after a rattlesnake bit her twice, once on the arm and again on her right hand.
It happened about an hour and a half northwest of Fort Worth in Bryson.
The little girl's family said she was at a friend's house on the porch Sunday evening when the snake attacked.
CareFlite took the little girl to Cook's Children's Hospital in critical condition.
Doctors treated her with 12 vials of antivenom, and she's now back home.
