Former TCU QB Pachall Back On The Team
FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM)-- A former TCU quarterback will be back on campus Monday, as the school starts spring semester.
The Athletic Department confirms Casey Pachall is back at the school and a member of the football program.
The 21-year-old left TCU in the fall after a troubled 2012.
Early in the year the junior admitted to police that he smoked marijuana and failed a team-administered drug test.
Then in October, he had a DWI arrest that at the time, his father Stan said was a "wakeup call" for his son.
After the arrest Pachall disenrolled from TCU and entered rehab.
Redshirt freshman Trevone Boykin took over as quarterback and the Horned Frogs finished the season 7-6 after losing to Michigan State in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl.
