Former Mavs Star Mark Aguirre Hospitalized

DALLAS (AP) - Former Dallas Mavericks All-Star forward Mark Aguirre is hospitalized after collapsing at a suburban Dallas athletic club.

Former Mavericks general manager Frank Zaccanelli tells The Dallas Morning News that Aguirre apparently suffered a blood circulation problem while working out on a treadmill at the club in Plano and blacked out. Zaccanelli says "he's fine" but that Aguirre will be kept in a Plano hospital for a few days of tests.

Aguirre played with the Dallas Mavericks for 7 1/2 seasons, amassing a club-record 2,330 points in a single season in 1983-84.
