FRISCO (CBSDFW.COM) - A former Frisco ISD employee has pleaded guilty to an improper relationship with a student.
Jason Gonzalez, 42, pleaded guilty to the charge Thursday and was placed on deferred adjudication probation for 10 years, and fined $500 dollars for each of the three felony counts.
Gonzalez was an assistant band director at Frisco's Liberty High School when he was accused of a relationship with a former student in 2012. The student claimed the affair started in 2008 and continued through 2009. She would often meet Gonzalez at his Plano apartment for sex.
She reported the incident when she turned 21.
Gonzalez resigned from Frisco ISD the same day a warrant was issued for his arrest in January 2012.
