Former Cowboys Coach To Be On Survivor
Having turned 67 last week, Jimmy Johnson has been selected as a contestant on the next installment of the CBS reality show series Survivor which will be set in Nicaragua this time around. Johnson coached for ten years in the college ranks and another nine in the NFL. He was the Cowboys head coach for five seasons and won two Super Bowls. Since retiring from coaching after the 1999 season, he's been a Fox Sports football analyst. Johnson will joint hte list of ex-Cowboys with reality TV experience. Michael Irvin and Emmitt Smith have both competed on Dancing With The Stars, while quarterback Gary Hogeboom appeared in the 2005 season of Survivor. Johnson will be five years younger than Rudy Boesch who was 72 when he became one of three finalists on Survivor: Borneo in the 2000 season.
