Flower Mound To Distribute Mosquito Larvicide
FLOWER MOUND (CBSDFW.COM) - Flower Mound residents can pick up free mosquito larvicide beginning Monday, August 6.
The small, environmentally-safe, larvicide tablets, also called "dunks", are designed to kill mosquito larvae for a period of 30 to 45 days when they are placed in standing water.
The town will distribute two free dunks per household, on a first come first served basis, at the Flower Mound Town Hall weekdays from 8 am to 5 pm. Proof of residency, such as a utility bill or driver's license, is required. The town has a limited supply of the free larvicide, but says the dunks are available at area hardware and home and garden stores.
