Fire Risk Returns Sunday
Wonderful weather today with low humidity and highs in the mid-70's. A little bit of a north wind helped with clearing out that smoke/haze of yesterday. More importantly is was a LITTLE wind, rarely getting more over 15mph. This helped the fire fighting efforts but the dewpoints continued to stay in the 20's, the relative humidity at 4pm at DFW today was a mere 17%.
Tonight an absolutely perfect night in store for us the Fort Worth Arts Festival with temperatures falling into the 60's, down to the low 50's by tomorrow morning.
BACK TO FIRE RISK TOMORROW
A Fire Watch in effect for Sunday afternoon for Dallas and Tarrant counties and the western half of north Texas. Wind gusts are expected to hit close to 35mph, with some many hot spots still in battle this will not help. Highs tomorrow in the mid-80's and very dry air again. We won't have dew points return to the 60's until Tuesday.
SLIGHT STORM CHANCES RETURN TUESDAY
The dry line starts to inch toward us on Tuesday bumping into humid air that'll be back over the metroplex. Highs will likely reach into the 90's (and again- windy) but a few storms could form along the dry line. These storm chances should remain in our area for Wednesday and Thursday as well but stay low (30% coverage tops).
