Feeling Spring Like Later this Week for Spring Break in North Texas
Most schools are off this week for Spring Break. And the weather couldn't be nicer. It is a bit cool and breezy today, but temperatures will warm thru the week and by Friday and Saturday high temperatures will be around 80 degrees!
TONIGHT
Clear and chilly. Temperatures staying mostly above freezing for all locations.
TOMORROW
Sunny and warmer with light winds shifting from the southeast to the northeast during the day.
WARMING TREND THIS WEEK
We will see cool mornings, but pleasant afternoon as temperatures warm thru the week. We will see 80s by Friday and Saturday. A weak system will approach early next week and bring us our next rain chance on Monday of next week.

RAINFALL UPDATE
The weekend rain helped here in North Texas, but a lot of Texas missed out on the rain.
Here is a map showing the percentage of normal rainfall over the past 30 days. The dark red areas along the Rio Grande is an area that has received no rain in the past 30 days. The Panhandle on the opposite end of the spectrum has received 200% to 600% above normal rainfall. Most areas in North Texas have seen between 70% to 100% of normal rainfall over the past 30 days.
