Elena Kagan's Confirmation Hearings Start This Week (Audio)
President Obama's Supreme Court Nominee Elena Kagan (pictured) will be in front of the Senate's Judiciary Committee this week for what many feel will simply be a formality. She's widely expected to be easily confirmed to the highest court of the land, but as is usual (and is always frustrating) very little remains known about her.
Some civil rights groups are concerned about Kagan's record on race issues.
When she was first chosen by the president, the internet exploded with controversy about whether Kagan is homosexual. I asked the question as to whether it makes a difference.
