Elderly Man Killed In Fort Worth Crash

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) -- An elderly man was killed early Wednesday morning after his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree in Fort Worth.
The crash occurred just before 1 a.m. in the 4800 block of Benbrook Highway.
According to police, the vehicle went off the road a few feet and struck a tree. Investigators say there are no signs that the man hit his brakes, which could indicate a possible medical issue.
The man, who has yet to be identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Fort Worth Traffic Investigation Unit was called to investigate.
