Young Man Drowns In Lake Worth

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Fort Worth Police say an 19-year-old was walking near the spillway at 6296 Hatchery Road and accidentally fell off.

Police say he was swept away by the current.

Dive team recovered his body around 3:00 p.m.

The victim's friend Diego Reyna tells CBS11, "We were walking across that and then he slipped and the current took him, took us both.   We fell in the he was fine and then he went back under water and that's when he didn't come back up."
