Doctor's Hospital Briefly Evacuated After Small Fire
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – An East Dallas hospital was briefly evacuated Saturday afternoon when an electric panel in the kitchen shorted out and caught fire.
About a dozen patients and doctors were ushered out of the Doctors Hospital near White Rock Lake at about 5:30 p.m. First responders found the small fire and put it out, quickly cancelling the second alarm.
A staffer called the fire department upon seeing smoke in a hallway, a spokesman said.
No one was injured in the small fire.
