Denton Dog Rescued From Sealed Box

DENTON (CBSDFW.com) - Earlier this month Denton  County water supply workers found a taped-shut box that apparently had been discarded as trash.  They were about to throw away the box until it barked at them.

After they carefully cut open the bottom of the box, they found a dehydrated and malnourished Chihuahua mix trapped inside.

Animal Rescue of Texas took in the dog and named him Jack Frost.

Jack is on the road to recovery, but is still a few months away from being able to be adopted.
