DENTON COUNTY, TX (CBSDFW.COM) - Denton County residents, under the gun to move, held their first meeting Saturday to discuss their situation.

Residents at Lincoln Park have until June 15th to vacate and make room for a new development.

Many residents found out just a few days before Saturday's meeting.    Some residents say it's a change they may not be able to afford.

"We've already been through Hurricane Katrina. It was a total loss now I have to go through something quite similar again," says Resident Deneen Beck.

"I don't have that kind of money I'm getting older and I know it's not fair to these older people nor the renters," says Colleen Lee".

The city of Little Elm recently annexed the land and rezoned it light commercial.  No word from the developer on what this property will become.

Residents are looking at whether they have any legal options.
