1 person dead after crash on I-35W in Fort Worth
FORT WORTH – Traffic on a portion of I-35W heading into Fort Worth is backed up after a deadly crash.
It happened at 4:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-35W Tuesday, between East Northside Drive and East Belknap Street in Fort Worth.
The TEXpress lanes are shut down as a result of the crash.
Fort Worth police said a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on the toll road and was killed. The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and cooperated with police.
Police expect this portion of the roadway to be closed for a while.
