Daughter Detained In Dallas Mom's Driveway Death

DALLAS (AP) - Dallas police have detained a woman in the apparent run-over death of her mother after an argument in their home spilled out into the driveway.

Sgt. Eddie Douglas says the death early Friday is being treated as a homicide.

A neighbor called police after allegedly witnessing the mother being run over, possibly twice, with the daughter behind the wheel.

Police located the daughter hiding in the house.

The name of the victim was not immediately released. Police have not said why the women were fighting.
