DART's Budget Okayed; No Layoffs Needed
DART's board has approved its new budget, cutting spending by about 400-million dollars. But even so, there will be no new layoffs. DART has also okayed a long-term financial plan to make sure the final 24 miles of the new Green Line will be ready by the end of the year. Money will also be available to allow work on the Orange and Blue lines to continue.
