Damn! That's a Huge Beaver Home (Photo)
Busy beavers indeed. Scientists in Canada have discovered what they believe to be the world's largest beaver dam -- so big it's visible from space. It's in a remote area of Northern Alberta -- so remote, in fact, you have to fly over it to see it. It's more than a half-mile long at last check, and because of the vegetation growing on top of the dam, the experts say it looks like the beavers began building it back in the mid 1970s.
