Dallas Dog Mauling Victim's Family Seeks $5M From City

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - The family of a woman who died after she was mauled by a pack of stray dogs earlier this month has sent a demand letter to the city of Dallas asking for $5 million.

Antoinette Brown, 52, died after a week-long battle after the attack that happened in southeast Dallas.

The letter (see below) from an attorney representing Brown's estate is addressed to the city's Risk Management Office and cites the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code.
