105.3 THE FAN -- The Dallas Cowboys have been really impressed with LSU rookie La'el Collins. Jerry Jones was not only impressed with Collins' athleticism, but as he told Shan & RJ in April, Jones was impressed by Collins' rank.

"Someone said, 'Well, you know he's an Eagle Scout.' I said, 'Do what?' Let me tell you something. I was in scouting. And I know how special it is to be an Eagle Scout.'"

Jerry Jones is probably also impressed by THE FAN's Troy Hughes -- because he TOO is an Eagle Scout.

Troy went out to Valley Ranch to find La'el Collins and put him through the test ... the EAGLE SCOUT test!
