Dallas Council Wants To See More Out Of Fair Park
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas' Fair Park has been named one of the Top Ten Public Spaces in the country by the American Planning Association.
Now some city council members are wondering why the historic landmark is not embraced more by the people who live in North Texas.

City Council Member Dwayne Carraway says the city-owned facility continues to lose business.
The council points out great strides have been made in cleaning up Fair Park, but council member Angela Hunt agrees with Carraway that more can be done to market it.
Some help could come in the form of a summer-time amusement park being planned by the State Fair Association. The park is supposed to launch in May of 2013.
