Dallas Boy Dies After Being Left In Hot Van
A 2-year-old boy has died after being left alone in a day-care center van for several hours outside a Dallas school. Sgt. Warren Mitchell says a child found the unconscious toddler about 3:30 Thursday afternoon in the back of the van outside a school, near Fair Park. The boy was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Temperatures topped out at 94 degrees Thursday afternoon. It is believed the child was inside that van for about six hours.
