Dalai Lama Birthday
There was a big birthday celebration at Moody Coliseum on the SMU campus yesterday. President George W. and Laura Bush were in attendance, but not even the guest of honor.
The honoree shares the birthday of July 6 with President Bush, however Bush will be 68 and the visitor to Dallas-Fort Worth will be 80.
"Please join me in welcoming His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet," said Margaret Spellings, President of the George W. Bush Presidential Center.
