Crooks Stealing From The City Of Dallas

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - It didn't happen once, but twice. And Dallas police officers are looking for the thieves.

Surveillance video released today by the department shows three men stealing lawn equipment from a Dallas Parks and Recreation department building. A department news release describes the thefts as "thousands of dollars of lawn equipment from the building."

The thefts happened on November 17th, 2011 and January 25th of this year. The building is located at 8740 Elam Road in southeast Dallas.

Police are asking for information that will help them track down the men seen in the surveillance video.

We are waiting for a call from the city of Dallas after asking what security steps are being taken to prevent a third burglary.
