DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Crews won't have to demolish the rest of The Renaissance Condominium parking garage in Turtle Creek, which partially collapsed last month.
A spokesperson for the apartments said the garage's structure is still sound. Thus, isolated work is scheduled only on the part that collapsed.
It will remain closed, until all the work is done. Apartment representatives said there isn't an estimate as to when the workers will complete repairs.
Meantime, apartment reps said they hope a nearby garage where residents are allowed to park will open by Thursday.
