Cowboys Put 5 In Pro Bowl

IRVING (105.3 THE FAN) - So the Cowboys are a team going nowhere, but five players are going to play in the post season.  Well, as in the five who were named as starters in the 2011 Pro Bowl.

DeMarcus Ware, Jason WItten, Jay Ratliff, Andre Gurode and Mat McBriar are all scheduled to play in the game, barring any last-minute injuries, which have become commonplace for players who simply don't want to make the trip after a long season.

Last year?  The Cowboys placed nine on the team.  Ware is going back for his fifth straight time and is currently tied for third in the league with 12.5 sacks.

Witten is having another great season and will go to his seventh straight Pro Bowl. He leads all tight ends in catches (90) and yards (956).

Yes, the Pro Bowl has become a joke with so many players backing out, but I'm guessing these Cowboys players will find a way to play.  If you want to start with a core of players who aren't going anywhere, these are the guys.
