Cowboys Planning To Miss Injured McClain
IRVING, Texas (105.3 THE FAN) — Tony Romo is back on the Dallas Cowboys field today, joined by Dez Bryant.
Both offensive stars sat out Wednesday, the quarterback due to tightness in his back and the receiver as a precautionary measure due to a sore right shoulder.
But middle linebacker Rolando McClain (groin) was not part of the Thursday workout and the Cowboys are prepping for Sunday's visit to St. Louis with rookie Anthony Hitchens in the middle flanked by Kyle Wilber and Bruce Carter.
Orlando Scandrick (working in the Nickel) and Anthony Spencer (practicing for the second straight day after missing a year due to a serious knee injury) were other notables involved in the session.
Dallas (1-1) visits the Rams on Sunday. The game can be heard on The Cowboys Station 105.3 The Fan.
