IRVING (105.3 THE FAN) - My buddy RJ Choppy hates when I say, "It's An 8-8 League.''

But you look at the oddmakers' thoughts on the upcoming NFL season and what you do see?

It's An 8-8 League.

My long-running theory is that two-thirds of the NFL teams always wind up within two games of .500, with only a handful of teams distinguishing themselves at the top ... and at the bottom.

The odds on over/under wins for the 2016 NFL season have five teams at the top: Carolina, Green Bay, New England, Pittsburgh and Seattle. The Dallas Cowboys are on the next level, given an over-under of 9.5 wins. And then there are three "bad'' teams.

The over-under lines set for the 2016 regular season, according to Bovada.
