Cowboys Down Cincinnati Bengals in the Hall-of-Fame Game

The Cowboys struggled on offense but still eked out a win at the Hall-of-Fame game in Canton, Ohio Sunday

The 'Boys forced four turnovers, got three field goals from David Buehler and an interception return for a touchdown by Brandon Sharpe for a 16-7 victory over Cincinnati in the Hall of Fame game Sunday night.

One night after Emmitt Smith joined his fellow ``Triplets,'' Troy Aikman and Michael Irvin, in the hall, the Cowboys used defense to win the NFL's preseason opener.

Tony Romo was 5-for-10 for 59 yards on his only series, which Buehler capped with a 20-yard field goal. Buehler also connected from 34 and 23 yards, and Sharpe took an interception of third-stringer Jordan Palmer 6 yards for their only touchdown.
