Cowboys Named Most Valuable Sports Team in America

The Dallas Cowboys are now the most valuable team in the country according to the latest Forbes Magazine list.  America's team is valued at 1.65 billion dollars, which is 50 million more than the New York Yankees.  The Cowboys new stadium in Arlington gets a lot of the credit because it's landed the NBA All-Star Game, NCAA Final Four and the Super Bowl. 280 million dollars is the team's listed revenue, right in the neighborhood of a lot of other NFL teams that made the top 50 list.   All 32 were on it, including the Washington Redskins, New England Patriots,  New York Giants, New York Jets and Houston Texans. There were a few soccer teams, including Manchester United, which claimed the top spot.  It was the only team to beat the Cowboys in team value.  In addition to sports teams, money-making individual atheletes were also ranked, and in spite of his problems off the course, Tiger Woods is number one, making 105 million dollars over the past year.
